Wins for best location to have a meal closest to the Kotel. Loses for most everything else.

Between the Arches is located a stone’s throw away from the Western Wall. It is dug out nearby to be a close and easy option for people celebrating mainly B’nai Mitzvah at the historic site. Sadly, the celebration will end at the wall, because there is nothing worth celebrating at this restaurant.

The location is literally in a cave. There are no windows, it is dark and dingy and seems to me like a cave-person theme.

The service is slow, disorganized and the staff, unhelpful. They make their mark from events, so they can care less about those that need service or the individual diner. It is like talking to a wall!

Speaking of caves, it is a good thing there is limited lighting here, that way, you can see less of your portions. They are sparse and the tastes are forgettable.

This is a classic case of a location with incredible potential, whose food pales in the fierce competition of the 2000 year old wall for being spiritual and meaningful.

My suggestion, order a meal and before it arrives, write a note and shtup it in the cracks of the Kotel, for the food to be tasty.
