Angelica is a top-contender for best restaurant in Israel. It has all the necessary ingredients to put it in the running. The location is perfect, near the 5-star strip of hotels, decorated with style and taste, it offers a robust menu, served to exactness with special flavors and distinctive tastes.

Lamb shoulder

Angelica is for the upscale diner. This is not a place where birthrighters will break pita in their cut off jeans and back packs. You will most likely see a member of Knesset or a mayor dining with an important delegation here, regaling them with their value to the state of Israel. What really makes them double down on their investment is the eats! Trust me.

The kitchen is open, the bar has every scotch any connoisseur could desire and the chefs are dressed to the nines, as are the wait staff!

So, lets get to it: the liver pate, the goose liver and the beef tartare with quail eggs are amazing. Honestly, the presentation is so gorgeous it hurts to cut into the appetizer. When you taste it, your upset is soothed by the explosion of flavors in your mouth. I am a sucker for sweet breads, so I cannot pass them up on the menu, ever!

For entrée, the entrecôte, the duck breast and the lamb shoulder are made exquisitely. They will fill you up and leave you full, yet wanting more. I promise you will be part of the clean plate club, at Angelica!

Angelica probably has the best pareve desserts around. Not an easy task. Most special about this place is that if the adage is true, that you eat with your eyes, you will be so full at Angelica.
