Dwiny Name - Gigantic Tastes

A Pita Pocket of Perfection

In a small nook, across the street from Ishtabach in Machane Yehuda Market, with decor that modeled an abandoned watering hole in Tunis, lives Dwiny. A simple yet sophisticated pita pocket eatery.

Dwiny has a simple menu with simple offerings, but bold tastes. They have mastered the magic of simplicity.

Most of the “sandvicheem” are offered in pita pocket or on top of bruschetta (toasted pita bread). The entrecôte was very delicious. The osso-buco was exquisite, whether on the pita or on the bruschetta. If you are feeling adventurous and want to swim against the current, try the fish shawarma. It is the salmon’s fins! Unique and scrumptious.

The mix up of fries and onion rings with a sprinkling of spices was messy but good. Not a show stopper but worth a try.

I could have used a tad less of the fresh made aioli, as it left a bit of an aftertaste. Still, continuing to taste this food was worth it.

Best part was it did not break the bank. Dwiny is as affordable as it is tasty! Put Dwiny sandwich stop in your pocket of go-to places.
