A thin slice of heaven.

A movie once said, “Pizza is like sex. Even when it is bad, it is good.”

Well, I prefer good pizza. Really good pizza! That is why I choose Bardak.

There are a few locations, but my Bardak is located next door to Olive and Fish and across the street from the Inbal Hotel, this location will be trafficked by Israelis and tourists, always a good sign. The pizza is made fresh after ordering with a host of different toppings. The dough is made the Italian way, where the dough rises over 48 hours. You can taste the difference. Accompanying these exceptionally fresh pizzas are an array of beers to enjoy the mix of flavors.

Like in the States, there are pizza joints you go to for a slice, (Koronet) or to order take out pies, and a select few you got to sit down at. Bardak is the latter and worth it. There are other items on the menu - perhaps for the lactose intolerant, but why would you order a salad here if you do not have to? Why?

The atmosphere is that of perfect pizza joint and the wait staff is the quintessential personality of such an establishment.

I am a simpleton on pizza: mushrooms. Though when in Israel, I always like some corn too. Your can get just about anything you want on the pie and by the time it comes out of the oven the salivating will be worth it when you try the first bite.

Enjoy Bardak for pizza!
