Do not wait for Christmas eve to eat at this Asian Station!

The Jewish people have been enjoying the tastes of Chinese foods for centuries. It has been a mainstay on Christmas eve and countless Jews who ‘kept kosher in their homes’ would break out the paper plates on the patio for the opportunity to delight in Chinese take out.

Well, you no longer need paper plates or to wait for December 24! Station 9 is everything good and right about Asian fare.

This hopping scene in the center of the First Station (Tachana Rishona) offers a smooth and funky indoor seating area with a young and hip vibe or a boisterous and exciting outdoor experience.

Wherever you choose to dine you can be sure there will be the young crowd enjoying a drink, the middle age crowd enjoying a date night and the senior crowd who appreciate good food. Station 9 caters to all peoples and pleases any palate. In my time there, I witnessed first dates happening along with couples enjoying a romantic night out, families dining together and even a ‘girls night out.’

Station 9 might have a fusion style menu but these are NOT fusion portions. Each plate was loaded and full. The popcorn (pronounced pop-KOREN) chicken appetizer fed four hungry souls. The Yaki Tori should be changed to Yummy Tori! it was plentiful and delicious. This pargit starter in peanut sauce offered more skewers than many shipudiya place entrees. The Tori Ramen hit the spot, even on a breezy summer night. The Pad Thai chicken was exquisite and the Pad Grow beef was seasoned with kick but not too much to remove the experience. The mixture of flavors was excellent. Do not forget to try the Bao Bao, which are steamed buns with soft short ribs. Sadly, there are only two per order and you will not want to share it!

The prices were fair, the service delightful and the atmosphere relaxed. I am excited to be back at this wonderful spot way before Christmas eve!

Domo Arrigato for this amazing find!
