In the world, there are leaders and followers. Sadly, for Hatzot, it fits into the latter category, following other top-shelf grill, skewer and salad places.

It is located on Agrippas Street, on the outskirts of the Machane Yehuda Market. There is surprisingly ample space to sit, even though it always looks like you are hanging half on the street and half on the restaurant to make it fit. That is also because there is a take out window next to the main entrance.

The food is fine. Not bad at all, but not memorable whatsoever. Grilled steak is good in most environments, but there are some places (see 443, Pappagaio and Zidkiyahu) that take are able to take these delights to a new level. I look forward to when Hatzot is there, leading the way. Until then, they are in the middle - at best - of the line.
