Roza is a very good restaurant with some excellent choices for lunch or dinner. It has a Middle Eastern flare from the kitchen but, the ambience has a bit of an identity crisis. It cannot decide if it is a more upscale restaurant or a unique Israeli place with an outdoor feel, since there is an outdoor seating area that you must go through the inside to arrive at.

The Foccacia appetizer is made on premises. They are all good, but the Bajin foccacia is worth ordering seconds. It is a pizza pie smothered in specially spiced ground beef. It is excellent and fresh.

The chef goes a little wild on the sauce, using what seems like a hoisin meets barbecue sauce on a little bit of everything. It tastes good but dilutes the natural flavors at times. The spaghetti and chicken in noodles are two examples of a similar sauce that wears over used.

My go-to is the basmati riced with herbs and spring chickens. It has always served me well. The last time I ordered a burger from there, it was dry and over cooked. The salads were larger than some tables. I am not sure how anyone could finish any one serving, though it was very fresh.

The kebabs were good, but was made in a seeming rush. They had flavor but were not flavorful, if you catch my drift. The filet was delicious and cooked perfectly. The presentation on all of their dishes are 10 out of 10.

Roza is a fine choice for a nice meal for 2, or for a family or when variety is needed.

Enjoy!
